Whu-artist: Neda Deric

There is an artist in all of us …

Greetings my special ones,

It took so long to find my Creative WhuHopper. After months of searching, Neda approached me with her beautiful version of Little Mis-Fit. I fell in love instantaneously and here we are today bringing life to our favourite misfit together! Meet our Krolian WhuHopper…

KROLIAN NAME: Buggles

WHUHOPPER DUTIES: Bring life and light to the kingdom with the hands of a master artist.

QUIRKS: Likes to eat raw snurgle beets and snoring loudly

Buggles was always an independent, silently feisty soul. Never afraid to colour outside the box, Buggles would find herself enchanted with the mysteries around her. This led her down many adventures like a true Krolian, even as a child, she explored beyond her comfort. Buggles was always enticed by colours, shapes and compositions.

However, life was not always rosy. She found herself incessantly competing with others. Not vocally, but in her head, Buggles began to measure herself to standards of society. Over time, with reflection and introspection, Buggles realised that only her own standards mattered the most. Ultimately, allowing her the freedom to grow into the woman she is today. She was finally able to see her true face– her most authentic self.

Growth is a process. It does not stop. We stop. Especially, when we become comfortable with ourselves. This is not the true essence of growth.

Using art and her curious nature, Buggles eventually discovered a natural talent for drawing. Her first love affair was with cute characters and furry animals. This is where she found pure happiness. Behind the veil of her mind, all her curiosity came to life. Buggles was enchanted by the versions she could create with the flair of her fragile fingertips.

Joy is a simple pleasure.

Buggles was unable to resist the allure of Little Mis-Fit. Who wouldn’t be enticed by a purple, furry creature? But, more importantly, she was motivated by the message of the book. Buggles felt that by illustrating it, she was also helping others. In her opinion, the book delivered an important message for both children and adults. She was compelled to be a part of it.

Buggles believes that artistic expression has a power to heal. So, if she can make others feel warm and fuzzy inside, then her purpose has been served.

Buggles message:

Small things in life can bring us true joy,  from a tiny marble to a delicious home-cooked meal made by your grandma. Look for these moments and never stop collecting them in your heart. This is truly blissful. Collect these gems as they make up our memories. Nourish yourself everyday with gratitude.
